I preserve Light Brown Leghorns, Rhode Island Reds, and Exchequer Leghorns, not to make a profit but because I love
them. And I want them to continue on for as long as the earth, even though good quality chickens become harder to find
as people's lifestyles become less connected to agriculture. My goal is to find others who are responsible
and dedicated to the preservation of at least one of these breeds.
I'm Roger Ringer, and I live in northeast Arkansas, U.S.A. I will sell fertile eggs to people who want the same look
in their chickens as what you see on this web page. All the chickens you see on this site were raised by me. I have a closed flock
and incubate my own eggs or use a broody hen. I've bought many chicks in my breeds by mail from four hatcheries, and the quality of
the birds keeps getting worse from a few of those businesses. Buy from me because I select the proper birds for
mating and get better looking results as a whole than the hatcheries do.
Explore the site, and view photos of my flock.
I will strive to get even better photos to show off the birds. For now, the pictures you see were taken starting December
24, 2007. I bought my first Light Brown Leghorns in 2003 from Gary McKinney (Missouri), who closed his
hatchery businees in 2005. I started keeping Exchequers and Rhode Island Reds in 2005.
